My Commitment

Value Study is built with privacy as a core principle. I believe your artwork and creative process are yours alone.

What I Don't Collect

• Your images: All image processing happens locally on your device. Your photos and artwork stay on your device unless you choose otherwise.
• Personal information: Without an account, I collect no names, emails, or personal data.
• Advertising data: I don't show ads, so I don't track ad-related data.

What I Do Collect

To improve the app, I collect minimal, anonymous analytics:

• App usage statistics: Which features are used most, app crashes, performance metrics. Collected via TelemetryDeck (privacy-focused analytics).
• Error logs: If the app crashes, I collect technical error information via Sentry to fix bugs. No image data is included.

If You Create An Account

Accounts are optional. If you create one so you can use Value Study across your devices, here's what gets stored:

• Sign in: Your email and a user ID. You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email one-time code. There's no password.
• Purchases: Your subscription state is linked to your account so it works on every device you sign in on.
• Crash reports: While signed in, crash reports get tagged with your account so I can follow up if needed. Image data is never included.
• Delete: You can delete your account from inside the app at any time.

Services I Use

I lean on a small set of services to run the app. Each one was picked for its privacy posture:

• TelemetryDeck: Anonymous analytics. EU-based and GDPR compliant.
• Sentry: Crash and error reporting. Open source.
• RevenueCat: Subscription and purchase management.
• Supabase: Open source backend. Used for feature flag configuration, and for account data if you create one. My data is hosted in London (eu-west-2).
